These pictures were taken in their NEW NURSERY!  Although you may not be able to tell too much, but their sailboats are on the floor still and things are not totally in their place.  We just moved into our new home exactly one week ago.  It has been very busy!  Everyone, including myself, is adjusting to our new home.  The boys had a few nights of waking up.  I wasn't sure if it was just teething, being in a new environment or a combo?  Either way, things are improving!  I'm still waiting for this new place to feel like home.  The good news is that the boys room DEFINITELY feels like home.  I basically recreated the same nursery and just added the mural, which turned out AMAZING!  Their room is very cozy!  Here are a couple pics...

Busy Busy

BUSY!! We have been EXTREMELY busy getting our home ready for moving I haven't had time to breath!  Carpet, paint, getting a new washer dryer, meeting the pool man, Gardner, changing our address, cleaning the new place, and the old place (we are renting our town home out), packing, and of course taking care of my adorable twins!!  Geeze!!

This Sunday is the BIG MOVE and we will be sleeping in our new home.  As excited as I am, it is bitter sweet.  This town home is where we started our lives together as a family.  My husband bought this town home as a bachelor a few months before we met (and yes it WAS a bachelor pad in every aspect.. with beer pictures on the wall and in desperate need of cleaning!), but with a woman's touch and lots of TLC (remodeling) it became our home.  I had always said I wanted to grow out of our home before we moved and I wouldn't until then.  After two and a half years of TTC, we finally did it.  For a while there I really thought we would live in this town home forever!  I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to have children. But low and behold two bouncing babes entered our lives and this home.  We started our family here!

Gods given us the GREATEST two gifts... My sweet babes light up my life every day.  I could not imagine a day without them now!  I am excited to move and see them grow up with more space, and a nice back yard to play in.  I am also recreating their nursery in the new home so there is not so much change for them to endure, plus I LOVE their nursery!  One thing I am adding to their room is a mural my brothers girlfriend is painting for them, which is going to include sky and clouds on the ceiling, a bay with sailboats and a light house behind their cribs.  I am going to move their sailboats with their names over the changing table.  I am also putting wainscoting up again.  Here is a progress pic...

Seeing their room coming together, once again, makes me so excited to start our lives in this new and foreign place we will call home!  We are bringing home with us!

P.S.  We're 7 months old!!!!

And we got the keys!

We got the keys to our NEW HOUSE today!  C and I are both extremely excited!  Although this house is TURN KEY, there is still so much to do!  First we need to replicate the boys room.  I love their nursery so much I don't want to change a thing... except maybe the color of blue.  I'm putting up the wainscoting  again too.  One of the bedrooms I'm making into a playroom for the boys and I'm having my brothers gf paint a mural, she's and artist!  There are a bunch of other little things to do, which I won't bore you with, but I'M STRESSED!!!!

My sis-in-law, who helps us out with cleaning, etc. had emergency surgery Sunday to remove her appendix, she is out for TWO WEEKS!  My brother and sis-in-law welcomed a baby girl, Karis Makana!  She is perfectly beautiful!  However she is in the NICU for breathing help.  Prayers for my baby niece please!  They thought my sis was 38 weeks, and she needed an emergency c-sec for pre-eclampsia (her third time!), however she was a little younger than that.  Anyways, lets just say we have A LOT going on! And no help! UGH!

Here is a pic from today... the first day in our NEW HOME!!!
