Day four of Lupron done!

IVF #3 is underway!  I received my box of meds (and it is STILL overwhelming seeing it all).  I took my last BCP two days ago and I'm on day four of Lupron.  I was feeling extremely exhausted and then I realized it was from the Claratin.  Dr. A had me start the antihistamine protocol again, but for how tired I was, I just had to stop!  I found THIS BLOG POST and I'm going to follow the protocol she gives from CCRM.  It is basically what my RE suggests, but starting it just before transfer...

The Claratin/pepcid protocol:
starting two days before transfer
5 mg prednisone twice a day (prescription steroid)
10 mg Claritin once a day
20 mg Pepcid in morning and at night

I have my prednisone prescription ready too!

So, as for Egg Quality (and overall health), here is what I'm taking, 600 mg CoEnzymeQ10, Myo-Inositol, Vitamin D 5000iu, Garden of Life Raw Prenatals, Methyl-Folate, Prenatal DHA, baby asprin, Amazing Grass Green Superfood, and Vitamin C!  I was taking DHEA, but my face now looks like a 16 year old girl... totally broken out!  I quit that immediately!

One week from today I start my stims!  We are SOOOOO ready!  :)

You're doing the right stuff it sounds like with all those supplements!! Hope you get a great haul! DHEA made my chin fall off. It was like it was nonstop acne and shed like a snake. Gross! Lol. Hey, did Dr. A say what to do about the antihistamine protocol after you get your bfp? I'm on that (not prednisone anymore) and wondering when I can quit! Love you girl! Can't wait for this cycle! I feel good things are coming!!!! ❤️❤️💜💜🙏🙏🌈🌈

So happy for you! I just started BCP on Saturday and by last night I was an emotional mess and was convinced I am done with IVF (before even starting it) lol. Mind you, I've never taken any kind of hormone medication in my life, I'd say I'm not handling it as well as I thought I would. But - since talking to my RE and GYN - I'm called down and am learning how to deal with the symptoms - it's only 3 weeks anyway :) well - 2.5 weeks left now! woot woot!

Hahaha... My face is finally clearing up, but it was disgusting and imbarassing! As for the anti-histamines she hasn't really said! I'm sure you are totally safe to quit now! I was thinking of stopping g at heart beat! That's my major hurdle I am going to want to get past! Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers!!!!! ❤️ Xoxo I started an IF Instagram a few days ago if you want to follow me... @twinmommasara

Well, I received the calendar from my RE's office, and the retrieval/transfer that I was thinking would be in June - is in less than a month! I told them I am not mentally prepared for that, so I stopped the BCP and will continue next month. Hopefully 3 BCPs isn't enough to screw up next month's AF. Mine are usually 30 days apart, on the dot. My family has plans this month and we are running our first 5K together on April 24th and if I'm strung out on hormone shots - I don't know if us going to the festival and will be enjoyable :') lol. So, now I can mentally, emotionally and physically prepare - less than a month before we get down to this nitty gritty! God allowing!!! Yes I do have a blog btw, under this gmail account (destiny21dawn). I'm new at the whole blog thing (obviously) and I'd love for you to check it out :)

I am so glad that you mentioned about being exhausted, when I take them that's exactly how I feel! My eyes were just bloodshot all day long for the 3 days.
